Sam and Rain met at university when they moved in to student halls together. Both (im)mature students, they hit it off immediately. Sam was studying Illustration and Rain, Drama.

While at university they discovered their joint creative talent when they hosted a Halloween party. Being poor students they decided to make their own decorations. With creepy cat cutouts and witches legs poking out of the bottom of the T.V the party was a hit and a creative duo was born!

After graduation Sam left Liverpool and went back to Cheshire to work as a freelance illustrator, Rain stayed in Liverpool and rekindled her passion for story telling.

They are now working together, using their creative talents to write and illustrate children's picture books. Working as a team for all the stages of the process, from the first idea to finalising the finished design. They currently meet once a month to drink coffee, eat popcorn and work on the book.
